 Dance2Learn was out raising awareness at the Chippenham River Festival on Saturday 27th August 2011. We offered a free Salsa lesson before attempting a demo of a medley of Salsa, Meringue, Bachata and Chacha. This marks the next step in D2L bringing local communities together in a spirit of caring and appreciation of those children less privileged than our own.
A big thank you to those who came to support us and a special mention for John Clark (Chippenham River Festival - Director) for the opportunity!  Steve Howe, "Chair of Scare", hands over a cheque to be used on promotional material to Sophia, the youngest member of Dance2Learn.
The money will go towards buying a large banner and some "D2L-Branded" promotional items to help us to raise awareness and increase "visibility". A big thank you to Steve and the rest of Kington Langley's Scarecrow Committee! To show our gratitude, a voucher for a free session of dance has been published in the local village magazine. |
