A fabulous day, fabulous fun, fabulous people and fabulous fund-raising!

Jenny Gosling (AKA Bella Beserka, pictured left), her Smash Vandals and a whole host of dangerously enthusiastic young Ladies pushed, shoved and rolled their way to helping us to raise over £100 for mosquito nets on Saturday.

The after party (excuse me, why is that lady taking off her clothes?) gave us a chance to flex our dance muscles and my larynx whilst stuffing a rainbow of cup cakes and networking for our Night of Dance & Debauchery.

Thanks to all the Harbour Harlots for embracing us and making us feel so very old :)

And you don't just get an afternoon of daring derby deeds! They party as hard as they skate – so your ticket price also includes entrance into the after party held at The Old Firestation in the centre of town.

Expect Rockabilly/Surf/Blues/Swing/Psychobilly from La Calavera, Ivy the Terrible and Dollsnatch, our very own in house DJ's. A little taste of Salsa from Dance2Learn & some of our friends in the wonderful world of burlesque will join us for a few performances too, including Miss Ally Katte and Delihah DiSgrace... and it wouldn't be a derby girl night out without copious amounts of cake and popcorn!

Jenny Gosling has invited us to perform at the Ship Shape & Bristol Smash 'em Roller Derby on 21 May 2011. The on-wheely mobile Ladies may be doing the collecting, so watch out, they take no prisoners!

The CAF finally sent us our money! Dance2Learn is up by another 150 squid! This will cover the web-hosting for last year and leave enough for some new collecting pots too!
