Dance2Learn News
Helping others to help themselves.
Starting this Tuesday,SalsaSource are offering lessons at Christian Malford Village hall! Come along and join us for the first evening and let yourself be convinced! The money raised will be used to cover admin costs at Dance2Learn so that we can continue to use ALL proceeds for Dance4Nets project. The following session will be on Tuesday, 12th of July and run subsequent Tuesdays in a "3 weeks on and one off" pattern. There will be an offer of learning Bachata and ChaCha as well as a fun Meringue during the course. The price of £6 for TWO FULL HOURS will be dependent of getting "feet on floor", so come and keep the price low and profits high! The sessions will be informal and fun. Bring your own refreshments and enthusiasm :) The Scarecrow Festival in Kington Langley, Dance2Learn's "Home", hosted it's annual Scarecrow Festival this weekend. Dance2Learn's stall, situated right on Middle Common, attracted considerable interest. The evening's Ceilidh, with "Jellied Reels" (no "the"!) was really good, clean fun and the Salsa taster/warmer went down well thanks to Ve Best who was able to stand in for Silvia. Our gratitude to Ve as well as Justin & Keri for their persistent canvassing of punters for the tombola! An estimated equivalent of 80 people will receive "net protection" despite the rain on Sunday. The tent's up for the Dance2Learn stall at Kington Langley Scarecrow Festival at the weekend. We will be holding little taster sessions during the day with our lovely Vee Best stepping in for Silvia on the Saturday and joining us for the Ceilidh in the evening from 7pm with the Jellied Reels topping the bill. Hoping to get everyone enjoying a bit of dancing and a good old fashioned "knees up" :) Come and visit us over by the presenter's tent on Middle Common! |
